Considering Social Care as a Career?
Start a rewarding and fulfilling career with Carr Gomm!
Everyone is different; we all need support with different things at different points in our lives. Our Support Practitioners use their excellent interpersonal skills to provide practical support and encouragement across all aspects of people’s everyday lives. This can include support with relationships, mobility, medications, emotions, personal care, money and budgets, meals, health and wellbeing, communication, participation in sports and leisure activities, planning for the future, and potentially any other aspect of life.
Practitioners support children, young people, adults and older adults to live the life they choose.
Because people are unique and lives are dynamic, each day in the career of a Support Practitioner brings different opportunities to have a positive impact on people’s lives.
We support new colleagues to register as professional social care practitioners with the Scottish Social Services Council and to complete their vocational SVQ training. We passionately believe in supporting continual professional development, so we offer ongoing training and development opportunities and support you in reaching your full potential.
