By accessing digital resources in Glasgow, Dominic is excelling at college and has been awarded an apprenticeship.
As a young man, Dominic faced homelessness and sought out help from our housing support team. Dominic had dreams of attending college, but with courses being online due to the pandemic, and not having access to the internet, he saw no way of striving for his dreams.
Through our Digital Inclusion Project, Dominic was given an iPad and Wi-Fi for internet access – he was finally able to apply to college. After enrolling in a brick laying course, he excelled in his online courses, achieving outstanding results.
The future is exciting for Dominic, due to his exceptional hard work and determination. He has now secured an apprenticeship with a local company. He can complete the next stage of his course with confidence.
