About Carr Gomm

Carr Gomm is a leading social care and community development charity. Our Inverness service provides short-term respite to people with caring responsibilities, helping to maintain wellbeing at home. We focus on person-centred support, ensuring carers have the time to rest and recharge while their loved ones receive safe, compassionate care.

The Role

As a Support Practitioner, you’ll provide 1–5 hour visits to individuals at home, giving their carers essential time off. This flexible role is ideal if you’re balancing other responsibilities such as family or study. You’ll be joining a Care Inspectorate 5-star rated service, committed to excellence in every visit.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from individuals who are:

  • Compassionate, reliable, and community-minded
  • Experienced or new to care – full training is provided
  • Drivers preferred, as we serve rural areas

 We welcome applications from any candidates already eligible to work in the UK or those that can apply for a visa granting permission to work in the UK (e.g. dependent visas, ancestry etc.) that do not require sponsorship from Carr Gomm. You will be asked to share proof of this prior to receiving any offer of employment. It is currently our policy not to offer sponsorship for prospective candidates.
