Great days out at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with people we support

People we support across Scotland enjoyed great days out at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Edinburgh in August is unlike anywhere else, and people we support wanted to get in on the action!

As the Edinburgh Fringe Festival draws to a close for another year, we’re reminiscing on the amazing days out people across the organisation had. Sean, Alan, Hope, Donna and Sara all enjoyed amazing days out in the city, soaking in the atmosphere and seeing truly incredible shows. Each day was tailored to their individual loves and interests to make every day special!

Fringe Highlights

Sean’s Day Out

Sean loved his day out at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival. From enjoying street performers on the Mound, having a delicious dinner in town and enjoying the glitz and glamour of The Lady Boys of Bangkok, before ending the day with a gorgeous sunset stroll through Princes Street Gardens, it is hard to pinpoint a highlight!

Alan’s Day Out

Alan soaked in the sunshine and blue skies on his day out in Edinburgh. Alan loved watching the street performers and enjoyed a delicious picnic on the grass in the summer sun. His favourite part of the day was bus spotting – one of his favourite hobbies!

Sara’s Day Out

Sara had a great day in Edinburgh, soaking in the atmosphere of the Fringe. She loved watching death-defying street performers and enjoying the sun in Princes Street Gardens. A highlight for Sara was hearing choirs on the Royal Mile.

Hope’s Day Out

Hope enjoyed an amazing day out at this year’s fringe, taking in some street performances and enjoying the atmosphere of the city. She even bumped into Alan, where they shared a few laughs and enjoyed a show together.

Donna’s Day Out

Donna loved experiencing this year’s Fringe Festival. She loved having a coffee and lunch, in the sunshine, while watching the world go by, before getting a new Lego duck to take home. Donna has a love of magic, and her highlight for the day was seeing a mesmerising magic show in the Cowgate.
