We Value Staff Opinions
At Carr Gomm, we believe everyone’s voice should be heard, and every idea is valid. That is why we launched our staff initiative Futures. ‘Futures’ acts as a digital suggestion box for staff to share any idea, big or small, that will help improve their workplace or the lives of people we support. It is open to all staff at any level, and each idea will be evaluated on its own merit.
Some ideas that have been implemented through Futures include:
- Launching our LGBT+ Network to support and champion staff and people support
- Offering a pay incentive for staff taking on extra shifts
- Funding an art exhibit for people supported during Mental Health Awareness Week
