Managers of Carr Gomm teams from across Scotland joined together for our Strategic Plan Launch in Glasgow.
In this final year of our 2024-2027 Strategic Plan, we heard about the new projects and new ways of working that we have been exploring, and the ways in which our learning is being embedded.
From our Staff Exchange Programme where staff visit other teams in Carr Gomm to improve their practice or take back learning to their service, to our new services working which children and young people, to the ways in which we are influencing public policy and perceptions about social care; Carr Gomm is progressing with its mission to have the greatest possible impact in the lives of people we support and the communities in which we operate.
The event was an opportunity to celebrate our successes. Those at the event also asked themselves: what more could we do and what would having courage as we progress with our Strategic Plan mean for people we support? These reflections will shape organisational developments in the next year, as we continue to embed our learning from this Strategic Plan.
There is a lot more for us to do, but it is in our DNA to strive to do even more.
