Carr Gomm is proud to have launched Year 2 of our Strategic Plan 2024–2027 at this year’s annual Strategic Plan and Budget event
Managers from across Scotland came together at Norton Park to reflect on the progress we’ve made so far, to reconnect with our shared purpose, and to look ahead at the opportunities and challenges we’ll embrace over the coming year.
This event is always a powerful reminder of what makes Carr Gomm unique. The energy, ideas and commitment to delivering person-centred support for people and communities across Scotland.
“Every year when we get together to check in on how we are doing with our strategic plan, we are affirming our commitment to what Carr Gomm exists to do. The passion, commitment and drive to deliver the best services both for now and into the future is tangible in the room. When the time comes soon, oh how I will miss this amazing experience.” – Lucy Wren, Carr Gomm Chief Executive
The Strategic Plan guides us in shaping Carr Gomm’s future: it is bold, collaborative, and deeply rooted in the voices of the people we support and work alongside.
As we enter the second year of this three-year journey, we remain focused on turning ideas into impact. From tackling systemic challenges to exploring new ways of working, growing, and connecting.
“The Strategic Plan and Budget Launch is one of my favourite days of the year. I always feel uplifted and inspired when connecting with colleagues from throughout Carr Gomm, celebrating our achievements together, and reflecting on the opportunities we can explore in the year to come.” – Andrew Thomson, Deputy Chief Executive
This next chapter will no doubt bring challenges. But as always, Carr Gomm moves forward with purpose, powered by people who care deeply about making a difference.
