The 16th June was a day like no other. Staff, people we support, board members. friends, family and supporters came together in their hundreds to celebrate 25 years of Carr Gomm at our birthday festival.
The day was packed full of activities including carnival games, therapists, face painting, caricaturist, live performances, food trucks, a silent disco and more. The sun shined on us all day! It was a day that recognised all the brilliant things achieved by Carr Gomm and the people we support across Scotland every day.
It was hosted by former Britain’s Got Talent star, Edward Reid, who brought the party spirit to the event, leading a ‘Carr Gomm’s Got Talent’ section.
The event was fully accessible for all, with quiet spaces, food for all diets and a Revoloo vehicle for wheelchair users so that there were no barriers to people enjoying their day.
Thank you to everyone who came along. You made the day one to remember for many years to come!
