Carr Gomm has appointed 7 new Board Members who will work with Carr Gomm to ensure we meet our charitable objectives and encourage us as we go even further in supporting people and communities across Scotland.
At our last AGM we said a big thank you to our departing board members: Simon Mayberry, Caroline Patterson, Alan Coutts and George Sparrow. Each of them have generously given their time, insight, and commitment to Carr Gomm.
We also welcomed 7 new Board Members. We are excited to work with each of them as we go into Year 3 of our Strategic Plan:
- Alan Somerville – a global sustainability leader with over 30 years’ experience, bringing his insight and expertise to Carr Gomm.
- Laura Kerr – a qualified and registered social worker with a focus on influencing policy and legislation, and supporting the development of the social work and social care workforce.
- Sunday Kolawole – a technology leader with a passion for using innovation and technology to improve people’s lives, with a strong focus on digital inclusion, collaboration and user-friendly solutions.
- Tashinga Mubonderi – a health and social care, advocacy, and administration professional with a passion for working with others to create inclusive solutions that make a real difference in people’s lives.
- Jamie Dougall – a healthcare leader with over 14 years’ experience of working with government, third-sector organisations, and healthcare professionals to create meaningful change.
- Gemma Hayward – a solicitor practising property law, with an awareness of how structural inequalities can limit people’s access to justice, opportunity, and dignity.
- Julia Aslett – a qualified actuary who looks forward to contributing her experience in finance, risk, and strategic planning to support Carr Gomm’s mission.
We look forward to working with our new Board Members and learning from their expertise as we continue to have the greatest possible impact in people’s lives.
