Andrew Thomson appointed Carr Gomm’s Deputy Chief Executive

Carr Gomm has announced the appointment of Andrew Thomson as first Deputy Chief Executive.

Lucy Wren, Chief Executive noted. “The creation of the position is in response to the growing scale and complexity of Carr Gomm, and we are confident the role will be a tremendous asset in helping to continue to ensure consistency and quality and that we can achieve our aspirations.  We wish Andrew well in his new position.”

Andrew joined Carr Gomm in 2005 after working in charitable organisations in Ghana and Malawi. He has subsequently worked in multiple positions within Carr Gomm, most recently as a Senior Operations Manager with responsibility for developing innovative ways to support people Carr Gomm work with and staff to achieve positive outcomes.

Commenting on his appointment to Deputy Chief Executive, Andrew said, “I am delighted and honoured to be appointed into this new role.  I shall continue to support Carr Gomm to have the greatest possible impact in communities throughout Scotland.  All together, we can change the world.”
