Youth Hub Opens: Empowering Young People in Forth Valley

We are pleased to have officially opened our Youth Hub, a space which has been set up as part of our Transitional Support Services in Forth Valley.

The background features a table with promotional materials labeled Carr Gomm and several filing cabinets. This exciting new facility marks a significant step forward in our commitment to empowering young people as they move towards independence.

The Youth Hub is carefully designed so that independence, wellbeing, and choice are at its core, offering a safe and supportive environment where young people can relax, socialise, build their confidence, and acquire the essential life skills they will need in the future.

A wide range of activities will be provided at The Hub, including arts and crafts, music, recreational events, and workshops in practical life skills such as cooking, budgeting, and career planning. The activities will be based on the choices, interests, and needs of the young people who take part in them, so that the programme stays relevant and engaging.

The Youth Hub will soon be accessible to the wider community through our referral scheme, opening up the opportunity for more young people and families to take part. Please look out for more information on our referral scheme coming shortly.

Well done to Morgan and Vadim for arranging a wonderful opening event which genuinely reflected the spirit of the Youth Hub. We are looking forward to seeing the Hub develop and change as it continues to support young people all over Forth Valley for the weeks, months and years to come.

The Youth Hub is funded by Shared Care Scotland‘s Better Breaks Fund.
