The 2nd Annual Carr Gomm Sports Festival returned for a fantastic day in Stirling!
The 2026 Carr Gomm Sports Festival took place in Stirling on the 25th June, and was attended by almost 100 individuals.
The event provided people supported by Carr Gomm and the wider community the opportunity to try something new, offering an amazing range of accessible sports and activities.
The Carr Gomm Sports Festival started as an idea submitted to our Futures group by Lead Practitioner Vadim Zolotukhin. He was supported by our Healthy Living and Wellbeing Coordinator, Daniel Currie, to make the event a reality.
Supported by local clubs, groups and organisations, the Carr Gomm Sports Festival had so much to offer, no matter your experience, skill level or ability.
“The best bit about being here is just getting to meet everyone, meeting new friends and catching up with old friends, and taking part in different things. It’s brilliant!” – Attendee
With the sun shining, almost 100 people came together to get active and try something new. From football with Milton All Stars Football Club and rugby with Bannockburn Rugby Club to archery with Active Stirling and cycling with Bikes Without Barriers, there was a sport for everyone to get involved in.
With lots of smiles and laughter, a fantastic time was had by all!
Thank you to the amazing organisers, Vadim and Daniel, for making it all happen.
We also want to extend our thanks to our partners:
We cannot wait for next year and we hope to see you there!
