Most Inspirational Individual Award Winner: Vadim Zolotukhin

Vadim became the Lead Support Practitioner for our new Clackmannanshire team in March. His drive and passion helped establish our presence in a new area and build trusting relationships with young people, families, and commissioners. Vadim contributed to recruiting, induction, and mentoring team members, matching staff to young people and fostering trust and understanding. He sets high standards, inspiring young people to envision hopeful, meaningful futures.
His influence has shaped work in Clackmannanshire and inspired us to expand support for transitions across Forth Valley.
Congratulations, Vadim!

Involvement Award Winner: Midlothian Visiting Team

Our Midlothian Visiting Team stepped up in a remarkable way to support Sarah, ensuring she could continue going to her day services and stay actively involved in her community during a challenging time for her family.

The team provided extra support and consistency, helping Sarah maintain her routine and the activities she loves.
This award recognises the strong, trusting relationships they’ve built over time, and the way their commitment made it possible for Sarah’s family to take essential time they otherwise couldn’t have had.
Congratulations to the Midlothian Visiting Team!

Partnership Award Winner: Dundee Services and Queen Margaret University

Over his 6-month placement, Rhuari used music to foster emotional bonds and therapeutic engagement with individuals and small groups in Dundee. His respectful, person-centred approach helped build trust, connect people, and bring joy.

Notably, Rhuari – nicknamed “the music man”- worked with Cori to write a song as she settled into her new home, and with Barbara as she reconnected with music, rediscovering an important part of her identity.

His music therapy complemented local Support Practitioners’ work, leading to impacts like helping people express grief, reduce anxiety, and build relationships. This partnership has profoundly impacted lives in Dundee.
Congratulations to Dundee Services and Rhuari!

Lucy Wren Team of the Year Award Winner: Argyll & Bute Responders

In January, Storm Eowyn caused significant disruption across Argyll and Bute, including damage, fallen trees blocking roads, and power and telecom outages. Vulnerable people, especially those alone relying on telecare alarms, were cut off. Despite logistical challenges and high demand, our responder teams responded quickly, with compassion and creativity.

Within 24 hours, they risk-assessed and protected the 350 most vulnerable, coordinating with nurses and community teams to deliver supplies like blankets, torches, and hot food, while providing reassurance.
Senior managers praised the team’s response, emphasising their role in safeguarding communities during emergencies.
Congratulations to the Argyll & Bute Responders Teams!

Innovation Award Winner: Vadim Zolotukhin

Vadim proposed an idea to Futures for an inclusive and accessible sports day in Forth Valley. He collaborated with colleagues, our partners at Health by Science, and community groups to ensure the event was fun and provided opportunities for participants to try new sports under expert supervision.
Futures chose Vadim’s proposal as the winner because of its significant impact on promoting unity, connection, and community spirit; new friendships were made, and some discovered a love for sport, leading them to join various clubs.
Due to its success, this event will now become an annual celebration, supported by Carr Gomm and open to anyone in the organisation who wishes to participate.
Congratulations to Vadim and everyone involved with the Forth Valley Sports Festival!

Congratulations to all our extraordinary winners of this year’s Time to Shine Awards!
