Our International Collaborations Global Ambassador reflects on the learnings and experience from their CIF International professional exchange to Taiwan.
Carr Gomm was proud to be able to support applications to the Council of International Fellowship’s (CIF) programme in Taiwan in October 2024. CIF’s purpose is “to promote professional, cross-cultural and educational exchange for those working in the field of social services. The learning and sharing generated by the exchange provides opportunities for broadening professional as well as personal development, and so aims to contribute towards peace and understanding”.
Andrew Thomson was accepted to attend the program. He had the opportunity to travel to Taiwan for a 15-night stay consisting of cultural visits and a bespoke professional programme, including meeting with government officials, local health and social care organisations and local councils.
