Andrew is now digitally connected. An active member of his community, Andrew dedicates his time to volunteering for charities, including the British Heart Foundation. With a year full of lockdowns, he hasn’t been able to participate as he normally would, causing distress and a real change to both his routine and the activities he enjoys. Speaking to new people and reconnecting with old friends Recently, through his Advocacy Group, Andrew received a brand new tablet. His smile lit up the room when he learned how to answer video calls for the first time. He told us just how excited he was to be able to speak to new people and get involved in conversations again. 
Now, Andrew has become a dab hand, learning to play his favourite Elvis songs while he relaxes on his favourite chair.
