Argyll & Bute

Our Care at home Service is delivered in Dunoon, Rothesay, Campbeltown, and Lochgilphead. We support individuals with their daily life routine as per their support plan. This will often include meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care, as well as other aspects of daily life.

This service also supports those approaching end-of-life care in their own homes, where this is their choice.

Our Mobile home care teams support and facilitate hospital discharges and community escalation to prevent hospital or care home admission. The Teams also provide short-term care at home service to help determine any longer-term requirements.

Our Responder services work across all Mainland areas of Argyll and Bute, including Rothesay.

These services operate 24/7, responding to Telecare Alarms as well as s supporting hospital discharges and unplanned eventualities.

The teams will also support people to remain at home whenever possible and practical.

Housing Support operates across Argyll and Bute. The teams provide people with tenancy sustainment, homeless prevention and drop-in information and support services.

Stirling & Forth Valley

In Forth Valley, we support people to live their best lives and be all they can be – people who are as individual as you or I.

We enable people to better manage the challenges they face in their lives by working with them to recognise and build upon their strengths, and often we do this by listening to them, really listening, and working out a plan of support to help.

We support people in their own homes, and our support can be delivered anytime, from a few hours per week to 24-hour support.

We support people who may have very complex needs, and this would normally be in our 24hr services where we will support people with every aspect of daily living – helping people to get up in the morning, live their day and then support back to bed – in a couple of our complex services we have staff on shift who are awake at night to be there for people but predominately in our 24hr services we would have a sleepover staff and although they are asleep from 11pm – 7am they are available to assist the person supported should they need some help during the night.

People might just need us for a few hours a week – this can be to help with tenancies issues, shopping, support to appointments, or it could be for some social support – going to meet friends, doing an activity or just somebody to be there for reassurance and company.

In Stirling, our care-at-home service enables people to stay in their own homes and communities by providing help with daily living. Our role is not to do things for people but to work with them, and we support everyone differently.

Highland

Across Highland, we provide a home-based respite service for carers looking after family or friends. Our support can be anything from a few hours to longer, dependent on individuals’ needs, and can allow someone to pop to the shops, attend medical appointments or just have a break from their caring role.

The Highland care-at-home service helps to support people within their local community, promoting their independence and enabling people to stay in their own homes for as long as possible. Our role is not to do things for people but to work with them, and we support everyone differently.”
