How we support

Our approach is based on being a person-centred charity. This means that we don’t do things for people, but instead work with them; supporting everyone differently.

We always start by agreeing a support plan, unique to the person. It’s about choice, and being there for someone as they make plans to achieve their hopes and dreams.

On any given day, we may support:

  • an older person with dementia to live independently in their own home.
  • a dad of young children to reduce his risk of eviction by understanding his responsibilities as a tenant.
  • a young family with respite care.
  • someone leaving a long-term hospital stay.

To find out more about how we support people with different needs, keep reading.
