Salary: £18,438 – £20,301 per annum

Location: Edinburgh, National Service

Type: Full Time – Permanent

Carr Gomm is a leading Scottish social care and community development organisation. Our services provide person-centred support that enables people to live the life they choose. Our goal is to enable people to live safely and to do the things they want to do. We provide specialist support to people with a range of conditions including mental health, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and autism. We are a registered charity and not-for-profit company: we put people first, not profits.

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic person to join our HR team to support the delivery & development of our recruitment strategy across Scotland and to ensure the smooth running of the charity from an HR compliance capacity. As part of a Human Resources team, you will support the management of the full recruitment cycle from advert to appointment. In addition to preparing all the relevant supporting documents such as job adverts and job descriptions, you will also be responsible for processing the various pre-employment checks required to complete the recruitment process.

You will also have the opportunity to become involved in the broader work of the HR team with Carr Gomm through contributing to a range of HR generalist tasks including report preparation and employee relations.

This role requires creativity, a proactive mind set and the ability to develop effective communications for a range of different audiences. The successful individual will ideally be an HR graduate (or currently undertaking an HR qualification) or will have some relevant experience. You will have the ability to work to tight deadlines with excellent organisation and communication skills. The demands of the role requires an administrative approach and you will be confident to liaise with a variety of people, internal and external to the organisation, working confidently, accurately and using your own initiative.

We believe we can offer a fun & challenging environment and if you believe you have the skills required, we would love to hear from you!

Please note that due to the festive season this role will remain live over Christmas and into the New Year with a provisional interview date of the week beginning 20 January 2020.
