My role within the learning and development team is to co-ordinate and manage the development and delivery of training and qualifications across Carr Gomm ensuring it fits with our strategic plan.

I started in administration work then took time out to go to university. 

Afterwards, I trained as a careers adviser and spent 10 years working with adults helping them to improve their employability skills and advise them on career development. 

I moved into a role ensuring the organisation met its duties under the Equality Act before joining Carr Gomm in 2009.

The best thing for me about working with Carr Gomm is our annual staff awards. It’s great to acknowledge and celebrate all the fantastic work taking place across the organisation.
