Who we are

Carr Gomm is a leading Scottish social care and community development charity (SC033491). We currently support about 2,000 people every day across Scotland to live their lives safely and well according to their choices, whilst making plans to achieve their hopes and dreams for tomorrow.

Our support is person-centred and strongly reflects our values of choice, control, respect, interdependence, and openness and honesty, ensuring that people can lead full and positive lives as active citizens.

A core part of our work is to fundraise in order to fill the gaps in society; to provide support where no one else is. Specifically, this work focuses on tackling the crippling issues of loneliness and isolation; you can read more about what this looks like and how we spend fundraised monies here.
