News News Sewing with a smile at Cameron Angela Moffat is bringing her sewing machine to the Cameron service to see whether any of the people supported would like to sew their own face mask. Simone (photographed) had never sewn before, but with Angela’s guidance and after just a few practice runs, she cut out and sewed her own face mask. Simone plans to make one for her Mum too. The pattern being followed is one Angela downloaded from a website and after some coaching, Simone cut some herself. Angela asked the team to bring in the materials needed and all the staff brought in cotton materials. Angela said: “It was funny as some of the materials were clothing from staff and a lovely shirt from my husband to make the masks.” If you would like to find out more about receiving support from Carr Gomm, get in touch via our online form.
