Health by Science delivers online, personal training, with quality resources to empower people to take better control of their own health.

Pete, one of our HR team, talks to us about his experience. 

What made you want to take part?

I have a keen interest in fitness and wanted to further my knowledge of healthy eating habits. I also wanted to learn more about recovery and form, especially relating to weight training.

 What programme did you choose? Who taught you?

I took part in the Well-being Programme with Jamie Henderson, who was a great mentor and very supportive during the process.

What was your main takeaway?

I have gained a variety of knowledge. I learned more about the form of weight training, which helped massively when applied in the gym. Also, a lot of nutritional information that I have applied to my daily life. For example, aiming to eat a variety of different coloured foods to provide a diverse range of nutrients.

What did you learn/enjoy the most?

Learning about physical exercise was something that I really enjoyed. I felt I had an excellent base of knowledge which developed immensely.

Would you recommend the course to others?

I would 100% recommend the Health by Science programme. This course can be applied to anyone and help them achieve their already set goals, or teach them about making small positive lifestyle changes.
