In the beginning of lockdown, John and his family felt the best option for him was to move in with both his sisters to keep everyone together and connected.

John enjoyed living with his sisters but over the last few weeks was missing his routine and seeing his regular support staff, who he gets on well with.

Whilst staying at his sisters', John’s support team ensured they kept in contact with weekly video calls to see how he was coping and provide a chance for both sides to catch up. He would always look forward to calls with his support staff and it helped boost his overall morale.

Recently, everyone felt it was a good time for John to re-locate back to his own home where he could feel a sense of normality again and build up a routine.

Margo Craig, his service manager said: “John is now home and is delighted to be back.

“He is mostly enjoying the company of staff over a coffee whilst sitting in the garden appreciating the sunshine.

“Honestly, he is loving every minute of being home.”
