There is no correct way to experience lockdown. For many of us, the pandemic came as quite a shock, and many of us are still adapting to the uncertainties of the ‘new normal’. 

Some supported people at Carr Gomm have been reflecting on both their experiences from the first lockdown, and now with the ongoing restrictions. Looking back has been a kind of therapy that has helped people cope with the enormity of the situation we’ve all found ourselves in.

Jackie reflected on her first lockdown, which took place last year in March. She highlights the importance of reaching out when needing help, and her gratitude for her support system.
