In December, we were delighted to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of our Corstorphine service, following its launch in 2009. It was a truly momentous occasion which brought together everyone connected to the service. Hosted in the local hall, people shared memories and stories from the past 10 years.

Andrew (development worker) who helped to organise the event arranged a delicious buffet and anniversary cake for everyone to enjoy. The room was filled with pictures from the past ten years for people to admire and celebrate the growth of the service.

Naomi (support practitioner) utilised her family connections to provide entertainment by local dance group Gemini Pom Pom Troupe. Everyone loved dancing and clapping along to the music, which really raised the spirits in the room.

The party was a huge success and everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed a stress-free day. It truly was a momentous occasion which will be talked about for years to come.

Here’s to another fantastic 10 years in Corstorphine.
