John has always been a very active man. At the moment he is staying occupied through different activities in his home and around the garden.

He has missed being able to see his friends and family during lockdown, however with his support team he is enjoying swimming in the paddling pool, hand painting, making a bird feeder and going for wanders in his local area.

Carra Dick, his support practitioner, has seen how happy John is participating in all of these activities, so she suggested they capture these memories in an activity book.

This received such a great response from John and he now enjoys sitting with his sister to look through all his pictures and memories.

Carra said: “The activity book is a great way for John to look back on all of the fun times he has had.

“It’s also a great opportunity for his support team and new members of staff to understand what John’s likes and dislikes are – so it’s been really helpful.

“The photos really speak for themselves though as you can see how happy he is.”
