News News Call for views - change the future of social care Social care is changing. Now more than ever, your opinions matter to support the development and growth of this vital sector. The Health and Sport Committee are eager to gather views from people across Scotland who work, receive or provide care to a friend or family member. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic this enquiry had to be put on hold. However, now the Committee plans to recommence and ensure those who have first-hand knowledge of this sector, get their say in shaping the future of social care. This Committee is asking for individuals who meet the criteria to complete a small survey regarding the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and share any additional thoughts and opinions towards this matter. This is an opportunity for people to raise issues, successes and ideas for a stronger system and a better tomorrow. Carr Gomm is a leader in this field. We are proud to have been built on the views and opinions of a diverse set of people. We are aware our staff are working night and day to provide the best possible care for the people we support, whilst in a pandemic. Those who receive support are already sharing their thoughts and opinions within the organisation on being supported, during lockdown. We know that family members and unpaid carers are selflessly giving their time to the ones they love. Now it is time for the people who make Carr Gomm to share your views and experiences and raise your voice to leave a positive mark on the world of social care. Let’s change social care together. If you or someone you know meet the criteria then click here.
