We encourage our support practitioners to complete their Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs), as part of their learning & development at Carr Gomm.

The SVQs are national standard qualifications and all support practitioners are supported to gain a qualification relevant to their roles to ensure they have the required qualifications and skills.

Achieving a qualification can be very rewarding and means something different to every individual. For some, it brings a sense of confidence and achievement in gaining new skills, and for others, an increased knowledge and understanding of health and social care standards.

We invited some of our most recent cohort to share their SVQ experiences. Take a peek at the video.
