Working in partnership with Argyll & Bute Council and NHS Highland we provide support to older people and people with learning disabilities who are users of telecare service.

  • Campbeltown, Dunoon, Helensburgh, Islay, Lochgilphead, Oban and Rothesay services covering either approximately a 10 mile radius or the whole island and provide an overnight response service for people who use telecare and people who require short-term overnight homecare support.
  • Brokerage service - arranges additional workers for continuity of service should a Council provided service have a staffing shortage.
  • Housing support, visiting service works with people to stay safe and well in their homes and to help develop future life planning.
  • Homecare service providing short visits to people living at home with practical tasks and personal care.
  • Social Work Emergency Service (SWES) which we provide to all of the local authority.
  • Money Skills Argyll is a three-year, £3.75 million project which is joint funded by European funds and the Big Lottery. It will focus on achieving an increase in disadvantaged participants with improved money management skills; and a decrease in disadvantaged participants affected by debt as a barrier to social inclusion. Carr Gomm is part of this partnership, offering budgeting and life skills advice, and signposting people to relevant services. 

Working in partnership with Argyll & Bute Council we offer a tenancy support service people to prevent homelessness and sustain tenancies

All our services are all able to support people from any client group within their geographical area.
We welcome opportunities to support new individuals and are happy to take referrals, or for people who are self-directing their support, our Self-Directed Support Manager is happy to discuss this.
